nature & NurTure

The law office is just off the beaten path conveniently located just 1 mile north of Twelve Oaks Mall. However, this 1 mile makes all the difference. The office is close to several parks and surrounded by lots of trees. While working at the office, we spot a variety of animals that enjoy our bird feeder including deer, racoons, chipmunks, squirrels and field mice. We even have a garter snake named Fred that enjoys the sun near the creek. The view of birds include black-capped chickadees, nuthatch, woodpeckers, tufted titmouse, cardinals, sparrows, goldfinch, juncos and many more. American bald eagles may be spotted right by the office near the end of Old Novi Rd & S Lake Dr between Lakeshore Park and Pavilion Shore Park. When we are not at the office, we enjoy taking pictures of nature and animals. Jen Dziekan has captured incredible pictures of wild life that she graciously shares below for all to enjoy. When going through stressful events in life, it is so important to take time for ourselves. Taking a break to enjoy a walk in an area with trees and green space helps reduce stress. Research has indicated that even looking at pictures of trees and nature helps reduce stress-related hormones such as cortisol and adrenaline. Please enjoy the photographs below and make time for yourself to take a walk in the park.

Take a quiet walk with Mother Nature. It will nurture your mind, body, and soul.
